‘India should not make the same mistake as EU’

India has historically followed the European emission regime curve. BSVII norms are expected to follow the Euro 7 regulation, which will kick in from next year. Euro 7 is a missed opportunity for a more sustainable and cleaner drive in Europe, which India should avoid, says Dirk Bosteels, Executive Director, Association for Emission Control by Catalyst (AECC), a European industry body of companies involved in exhaust emissions control systems, in this exclusive interview with ETAuto’s Sumantra Bibhuti Barooah earlier.
